I had the pleasure of photographing a birthday party for a special little boy, Nicolas. This young man is so sweet and fun to be around that you can’t help but think of how unfair it is that he has to be fighting cancer. In a generation where we are so quick to get from point A to point B, where we forget to appreciate what, and even who, we have in our lives, where we can quickly lose sight of what really matters it is a true blessing to witness a good and thoughtful heart. I am so thankful for getting to capture such a wonderful boy and his family.
By the way, his request to the Make A Wish Foundation is to sing a duet with Lady Gaga. I hope they can make it happen for him because he definitely deserves it!
