Last year I was blessed to help out at the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital Gala and Golf Tournament last year in Auburn. This year we will be holding the event in Columbus at Country Club of Columbus on October 19th and 20th. Our committee chair will be announcing meeting dates soon. We will be meeting once a month in the beginning, then twice as we get closer. Anyone interested in supporting St Jude is welcome.
We will need volunteers for golf recruitment, sponsor recruitment, silent auction, live auction, public relations, etc.
St Jude is America’s 3rd-largest health-care charity. Discoveries there have completely changed how the world treats cancer and other life-threatening diseases in children. Patients of St Jude do not pay for treatment beyond what is covered by insurance, and those without insurance are never asked to pay.
