God died for the lost, and we are them.

This weekend, students from Clemson, CSU, Auburn, Mercer, and more gathered at the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University for Now Serving Atlanta.

Now Serving Atlanta is a a mission service weekend where young adults meet to worship and serve on a diverse collection of mission sites across the city of Atlanta.

My team was blessed to work with Pastor Robbins of Set Free Memorial Drive Ministries and Sanctuary Shelter. Set Free is the only homeless shelter in the metro Atlanta area that refuses to split up families, who can stay up to three months. They are provided with hot meals, clean beds, day care, counselling, medical assistance, clothing, addiction treatment, job training, and job search support in a Christ-centred environment.

I have some pictures up in the album labelled “Come let us adore Him” with more to come!

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Matthew 9:36

Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:8-12
