First Supper on the Bridge

14th Street Pedestrian Bridge between Phenix City and Columbus
This is the first common meal that anyone has done on the bridge. Everyone is invited, including your homeless friends. If you don’t have any homeless friends you can make some there, don’t worry.
Bring your friends and come eat with us (for FREE) on the 14th Street Pedestrian Bridge over the Chattahoochee River.
If you are interested in helping out there are several ways that you can volunteer to help us out.
On Friday the 23rd, we are cooking some of the food for Sunday and then freezing it. We need manpower. We want to feed hundreds of people! We will also be planning more for the meal then also, so if you don’t cook, come anyway. Come to Auburn Heights Baptist Church at 5:00pm. 4207 Auburn Road, Phenix City.
On Sunday the 25th (the day of), we will need volunteers to come to the same place at 9:30. There, we will be reheating food, moving equipment to the bridge, and also picking up homeless people. If you are interested in helping please show up any time between then and the meal. If not, just meet us on the bridge for lunch.
